In this project I responded to the short story The Tell Tale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe.
By interpreting the killer as a female nurse (as there were no pronouns to indicate the gender of the killer) and morphing her into various creatures referenced in the text I was able to modernise and put my own personal stamp on such a classic horror short story.
