As part of my Level 4 Foundation final piece I created this stop motion animation exploring my Cypriot heritage.
I visually reconstructed stories l I had been told my grandparents about their lives in Cyprus before they emigrated to the UK. My aim was to create a place where all these stories lived all together in one space, which is why when I presented my animation I did so where the stories that influenced the animation were surrounding the viewer.
Made with tracing paper, fine liners and old family photos.
